2021 Classroom Teacher LEARN Archaeology Training July 25-30

The Classroom Teacher LEARN Archaeology Training is a program of Archaeology in the Community in partnership with the Archaeology Department at James Madison’s Montpelier. Teachers participate in a week-long archaeological excavation on an actual research site on the Montpelier property, attend daily curriculum training to incorporate archaeology into their classroom, and participate in historic tours and lectures. This is a unique volunteer and educational experience which will allow you to gain hands-on experience with archaeology and bring it into the classroom!
